2025-06-19 00:43:14 +0000 UTCI never watched Star Trek when I was growing up in the 80s. Never thought I would. BUT watching with YOU is different, so I tried an episode and, dammit, I'm hooked. I want to watch more, but would prefer to watch the rest of the Original series with you rather than stream it by myself. COME BACK TO STAR TREK!

As a target shooter myself the fact Kirk, confiscated a firearm from a man on shore leave, He may have been was in his rights to do so, but he did not identify a potential threat before confiscating it. Sulu should have been allowed to keep that firearm as he was familiar with its mechanical principles and threat potential. He collects guns as a hobby and knows the potential for their damage

I love sharing this series with non Trekies, and I am happy you have taken to this series like a moth to a flame. I will tell you if you continue past the original series and into The Next Generation, that series has some rough episodes in the early days but stick with it cause your gonna love Worf and Jean Luc Picard. Deep Space Nine, omg the Captain in Deep Space Nine is on par with Kirk. Captain Sisko is the best Captain to ever grace Star Trek!
