Patreon Billing Updates

In November, if you subscribe to any Patreon on the iOS apps, you will be charged an additional 30%! This extra tax does not in any way go towards the creator you are subscribing to. As far as I am aware, this is only applied to new subscriptions. Avoid this fee by using the website to sign up instead.
Patreon will also be brute forcing the subscription billing based model at the same time. They've been attempting this for years now and it's likely this time they're going to ignore the negative feedback they've been receiving on this concept. Subscription billing charges on the same date each month whenever you first subscribed, as opposed to the beginning of the month. There's no real way to fix this one, unfortunately, and it will be a huge inconvenience to both you and me to get random charges/payments throughout the month rather than one all at once. Its an incredibly poor decision on their part, but let's be honest, Patreon has never made any good decisions.
Just figured I'd give a heads up on this to keep you all in the loop! I'm sure others have posted about it, but in case anyone hasn't heard about it, I think its important to know.
