It is constant hustle and bustle, grind mode, yet it does have its charm and hidden gems in each borough. You also enjoying NY is based on how long you stayed and where you went. Hope you at least got a chance to get some good food. Also, Christmas in NY is a vibe. Don't worry about them rats, don't bother them, stay out there way and they won't bother you....LOL!!!! Also, would love if you could review the movie "The Replacements" with Keanu Reeves and Gene Hackman. It's a good football comedy that I think you would enjoy. As for the movie "Inception", it's a Nolan film, so stay locked in so you won't miss anything.

I've never been there myself; I did the West Coast of Washington State, Oregon, and California during a long road trip with a friend. I got us lost and almost ended up in Tijuana at one point, and during that same trip, our brakes went out in San Francisco (you know, the place with all the steep hills), AND we ended up going the wrong way in L.A. and were on way -- two white girls in a Honda -- to East L.A. in the middle of the night! Thankfully, we figured it out and turned ourselves back before we got too far. I don't think NY is really on my list of places to visit, though I don't mind rats, but I hope you had some good times, too! You should check out Alaska sometime. Gorgeous scenery. I would skip Anchorage and just enjoy the small towns in the Southeast region, or if you go towards Central Alaska, you will definitely want to check out Soldotna, beautiful, clean little town with very friendly people. The capital city of Juneau shouldn't be missed either.
