Billing Paused for March

Hey folks!

This upcoming month, March 2024, I'll be pausing my Patreon. We can just address the elephant in the room: I MAY have goofed a little bit in taking on commissions as well as finishing them. The last half of 2023 I was mildly irresponsible and went on a lot of trips. In doing so, I did not end up getting a whole lot of work done. I didn't have a whole lot of foresight when I decided to take on too many complex commissions and then proceed to revise my Patreon, bringing on so many additional patron commission slots. Trying to work towards clearing both queues at once is simply not feasible, as each month I add on more tokens and thus, more commissions. Individually, the tokens or the queue would not be a problem, but, again, my lack of foresight in taking on many time consuming commissions while also expanding patron rewards is the main problem. There's not enough time for both to be fixed in a decent amount of time.

So, the decision has been made to pause Patreon for a month to focus on this commission queue. Its not totally dire, but there are some things I've been wanting to do, and to do so, I need the extra spending cash/time that taking on a new batch will afford me. At this current rate, I simply will not finish in any reasonable time to pursue other projects or take proper breaks. During this time, I will be pausing work on patron rewards, and not taking on more, resuming in April. Tokens, of course, will not be allocated for March. I'll still be posting work as usual as it is completed. I just need some dedicated worktime on this batch to get it finished up without additional work coming in. Once its cleared, I can then work on clearing up patron rewards while getting started on a new batch (one that I'll actually be more responsible with how much work I take on, haha).

Now, rest assured, I am not in any dire financial situation. I do not take risks without having precautions in place. I have enough of a safety net built up that I can pause Patreon for a month to focus up. If you would like to donate to my ko-fi, you are more than welcome to, but it is not required or expected of anyone. I am merely trying to get out ahead of this to solve it immediately rather than take a much slower path. I made poor judgment, and would rather it fixed sooner than later so I can move on to exciting projects and actually take breaks as planned.

Apologies for any inconveniences this may cause! Its certainly not ideal, but I want to be proactive and make sure the situation is sorted rather than hope it just eventually gets managed. Adjusting to changes in my life schedule has been tricky, but I'm gradually getting things closer and closer to ideal for my work and life balance so I can make more of the things I've wanted to. I appreciate the patience as I try to figure things out!
