100% right, I think most states will come around to hydrocarbons as rec gets pushed harder. Its perfectly safe in a C1D1 environment. Yeah large scale water to rosin extraction is almost impossible to do, genetics matter so much when it comes to yield even more so than hydrocarbon or other solvents, its the same as the Fem issue where you end up needing to plant fields of clones.

Yeah man. I wouldn’t recommend using good flower in our process. What I’d suggest would be essentially grown hemp for fiber and the flower and sugar leaves as a byproduct of the fiber production to make products making sure to utilize as much of the plant as possible.

That’s some good information. I’m not super informed on the THC side. I do know about state residual solvent tests, and as far as I know most states don’t allow hydrocarbon extraction generally because for safety concerns more so than for health concerns. If you’re not using a raw extract, but distilling it I’m confident that you’re going to be getting a non detectable amount of either solvent in your final product. Which is mostly what we use, and we’re not in the vape side of things. I’ve looked into rosin but for what we’re doing largely for capsules, lotions and things it would be hard to scale.

Chemical extraction is bastardizing hashish making which has been going on in Afghanistan for hundreds of years. Dry sifting or bubble hash may lower yields (in some cases), but you can still make fully dabbable hash the hash spirits approved way not with this babylon technology

Ethanol is way worse to ingest through heated vapor than butane just fyi. Also any extraction using most state approved methods(solvent/hydrocarbons) and passing the state mandated test on each batch, will have safe levels of whatever they used. Anyone using ethanol on high THC cannabis is doing so because the cannabis they are using is poor quality and will be used in vape carts, edibles, etc. High quality cannabis (if to be extracted ) should always be frozen fresh within an hour of cutting and processed using Butane/Propane or Water Extraction; anything else is suspect. (BHO can still be very suspect as well) The highest quality in my experience is always reserved for water hash which is then processed into rosin. That being said large scale CBD extraction is always done in large ethanol vats but this process should not be compared to quality santa maria IMO.
