As for the next update, it's still being worked on and I don't have a date for you. Truly, I don't know because my life is fluid. The best I can say is that I'll keep you posted as we get closer. Just know that your support and encouragement is extremely humbling and motivating, and I'm sure you'll continue to enjoy this story. I'm going to experiment with something in the next update that may help speed up the writing side (no, not AI!). I really want to get to the weekend in this story! But first things first... Anna has to get past Wednesday and Thursday, and you'll see that in this update and the next.

Kendra has made Anna drink quite a bit of wine during dinner, then has taken her downstairs for drinks. The idea is to get her ready for Marvin, but a guy shows up who wants to make her drink. The question is whether he's part of Kendra's plan or if he's just happened to show up at the bar. The other question is whether this is a new character or someone familiar. Dale or Tim are my bet.
