Status Update

Maybe you are right. I will now take a break, a loooong break from supporting this project, as I must face facts. This story – in my very humble opinion – is a story about a (perfect) couple who gets their marriage sabotaged by a revengeful ex-girlfriend. Worst, there is a plethora (too many some might argue) of men who wants to get into the wife’s pants. So, a plan is set into motion to break this perfect marriage. Pitch Meeting = We present a prologue that shows the motive of the bad guy. We present the perfect couple with their newly born baby. We introduce male characters that might corrupt the wife. Plan in motion, plan executed. Couple fight over alleged cheating (I know depends on choices). Couple take a break, husband fights for his marriage, wife unsure but (I am a corruption kind of guy) never really (so far) cheats himself. That’s where we are. 3 years into the making. To be honest, I really enjoyed the ride so far. Really good. What’s next based on what we have so far? More opportunities where Anna would be tempted, eventually she gives-in, have one sexual encounter-have to deal with remorse-do it again-remorse again (less)-then I don’t know (more corruption or more regrets?). If the endgame is Anna becoming this sex-craved goddess, what 4-5 years? If we were to (try) and rebuilt the relationship between Anna and David, 7-8 years? So, with all the possible paths, Mr. Palmer will work on this for the next 12 years? Awesome story. Not the right format. My goal is (well if your goal is to tell and share a COMPLETE story), re-assess, re-evaluate, re-planned and re-scheduled. But who cares, right, I began by saying that I was now out!

I think I couldn't make my case with sufficient clarity. Right now there are approximately 10 male characters competing for Anna ( Chris, David, Hank, Marvin, Leonard, Robinson, Marcel, Stenstromber, and Anna's handsome underling whose name I cannot remember). I think this is too much for a serious plot. Some of these characters must be relegated to the background roles. Of course, this also depends on what one expects from the story.. I only speak for myself..

As of now I don't think there will be introduction of too many characters...Whatever has been introduced until now it will be same...Plus the main story should move forward. Yes, if he will try to misdirect the story where it lose it's main path then obviously we all will be against it...but if the story need some character in the main plot then I am up for it. The point is the story should not be diverted that's all..I think you are coming from AWAM background lol...where LP try to develop the whole update of MC with new character....I hope it will not happen in this VN. There are few characters like Grant/Ana's mom/ Hank's partner who has not been shown up in the main storyline..but they are involved via calls or messages till now..So if Ana's mom showed up in next update, it should be treated as introduction of new character..And the whole update should not be focussed on Ana's mom. I will agree on that. To summarize the main plot of the story i.e. Ana/David relationship and the tension that has been created by Kendra should move forward with their office story. Those who want to influence Ana / David on the way of main plot they can.

What's the point of playing corrupt route then?? MP already said that whoever you want to reject, you can reject...So it will be on your gameplay...Just an example....if there are chris, marvin and Hank scene in the VN...and you don't want Marvin...you can reject marvin moves towards Ana...right? Why do you want to spoil story for few who like to see Ana with everyone? It's on individual gaming preference and players fantasies...they can play the way they like. If MP is developing 8 corrupt paths out of which you like only 2/3...you can reject other 5 corrupt paths moves towards Ana. Few will like all 8 paths..Few will like faithful path and no corruption so they can reject all characters moves towards Ana...So everyone can play as per their own prefernces and can modify the story as per their own choices.

The reason I'm against too many characters is this: When an erotic writer cannot imagine how to continue the story, he introduces a new character.. And this new character sleeps with every established character in the story.. After some time, the plot becomes something like this: --MC visits her barber and have sex with the barber. Then she visits her grocer and have sex with the grocer. Then she goes home and have sex with the postman and milkman. Meanwhile barber and grocer have sex with each other.. Than the postman visits barber's shop... To continue the story, introduce a schoolbus driver...

Reducing the role of some guys (or, at some stage, completely eliminating them) will make the story shorter, not longer. I think Anna should develop strong relations only with three: Hank, Chris, Marcel. May be Stenstromber and Marvin can be added to this list. I guess nobody will miss Leonard and Robinson if they are pushed into background roles or at some stage completely eliminated.

Appreciate it and sorry about that. This is my first time developing a VN, so I’m learning on the fly. Sometimes being transparent isn’t the best approach. People constantly ask when the update will be ready, so I want to provide answers. However, I myself don’t even know. I always “hope” sooner but this shit takes a lot of time, much more than I ever thought when I set out to do it. Granted, I’m extremely detail oriented, so that doesn’t help the speed. Once this update is released I’ll reassess the path ahead given the amount of time it takes. I may use some writing help. We’ll see. Right now I just need to focus on the update.

There are too many characters running after Anna. I think some of them must be eliminated. Here's my two cent's opinion on who to eliminate: --Hank is a rich man who radiates power. Under normal conditions, a relation between him and Anna is unthinkable. Hence this makes the relation between them very exciting. He must be kept. --Marcel is much younger than Anna, and he is black. This makes the opposition between them very strong.. He must also be kept. --Chris, Leonard, Robinson. These are characters with very similar backgrounds.. I think Chris represents the group very well. Chris must be kept (of course). Leonard and Robinson can be eliminated.. --Stenstromber is too similar with Hank.. He is an older wealthy man salivating after a younger woman over which he has some power. I think he can also be eliminated.. --In contrast to Hank and Stenstromber, marvin is a peniless old man who has very little power. I'd eliminate him also but it seems that a lot of people developed a soft spot for him..

If people interpret "I hope to" or "I'll try" into "I will" then they are not paying attention. You're not hiding from your patreons. I was up very late working on it but I haven't finished. It's simply taking longer than I imagined to finish this last scene. I considered releasing it just to get it done to make patrons happy, but that goes against the spirit of what I'm creating and my core beliefs. This is a pivotal point in the story. There's a shift taking place, and in my mind I have to be happy with how it comes out and how it sets up the rest of the story. I know it can never be perfect, but I have to be happy with it when I release it, and right now I'm not happy with it. Unfortunately I'm offline for rest of day and tomorrow, but Monday I'll be back online and determined to finish. It's my fault for being transparent by telling you I "hope" it'll be done by certain date, as I now realize that can be sort of like "hoping" Santa comes on Christmas, only to not show up. In the future, I have a plan to handle this type of communication, and for those unsatisfied, I'd encourage you to only support me when releases come out, if you want to support me at all. If anyone feels they've supported me recently under false pretenses of the update being ready, please send me a message and I'll try to rectify it. That was never my intent. My intent is and has always been to put out the most enjoyable product for both you and me, and that's what I'm doing by putting in more time and effort come Monday for this current update. Hey everyone, there’s no problems, I’m just still working on the last scene. I spent a good amount of time the past two days on it, specifically for those who reject Chris (yes there are some of you out there!)… I wanted to give a least something in the last scene for them. I had the artist do a few more renders for that part. I also did some editing for renders in the last scene. Even though there’s an artist, I have a lot of experience photoshopping, and I edit a lot of the renders in APM… little things here and there I adjust, and I often add renders using existing renders with variations to them. I know this is TMI, but I just want to explain why it’s still in process and that I’m not ignoring it. All that said, Wednesday will be a bad day for me, but I’ll be able to spend a lot of time on it Thursday and Friday. I’m going to be offline this weekend, so I’m going to do everything in my power to get this update done by sometime Friday. I don’t want this to drag on into the weekend. I’ll do my best as long as health, family and job don’t fuck up my time! Thanks for your patience.

Made great progress the past two days. Everything up until the final scene is done and edited. I’m really happy with the change I made to blend the POVs throughout the update. I think it’s the right decision. Now I just need to finish programming the final scene. It’s an important scene so I’m not going to speed through it. Hopefully I can have enough time this weekend to finish.

Same here, I will be honest. I can understand time taken to build background stories and everything. But where I felt that Mr. Palmer did mistake was in Ch2 while he was corrupting Ana, he should have given more intimate tease scene (not sex) but intimate tease scenes with nudity. E.g. He gave flashback scenes where Robinson and her uncle grope Ana from out of her clothes no matter whatever reason he gave..but Ana was lustful with sexual desire. That time Ana naughty points was zero. So while we play corrupt path and Ana gain naughtiness, Sex with her husband, second masturbation scene, Last pic change with Chris these all things could have been shown nude Ana...not with clothes...that would have made more sense while gaining naughty points, there is change in nudity too....there is no change in nudity even after gaining naughty point this way...people are still groping her above clothes....Similarly locker scene with marvin groping...Ana could have been showed topless..while gaining more Naughty points...Until now, Ana is not even shown topless to her own husband while doing sex lol. Story wise no doubt it's good. But if he would have shown these things in Ch2...showing sex in Ch3 would have made more sense. Keep the story upto tease level for faithful route, give them option not to go ahead with sex and show sex for corrupt route. Until there is some story, people will be interested..Introducing sex after all climax from the story is gone will be pointless. Like being a dik, he manage to move forward the story with sex scenes. MC do sex with same character multiple time if the story requires that character. He didn't hold sex of MC with a particular character until their last interaction story wise. Awam is teasing for years, it became boring after certain time now nobody is even interested in sex from sophia and even if it will be showed, it will not make an impact because story is lost completely. There is no story and everyone knows all path will eventually end up in sex so he keep teasing in all paths for years with step tease like nudity then HJ then BJ until final interaction with that character where he will end up with sex. No climax because LP got no story beside few like gangs/blackmail path. Main plot is gone. He manages to get subscribers/popularity because it was one of the first VN of this genre. And now people can see this trend and they are tired of it. They want developer to end this trend of holding sex for years. So, I can only suggest that until people are interested in the ongoing story of the game, sex will not ruin this VN..people will still be interested in the game. Once the interest is gone, sex will become useless...and one more important thing..if there will be no sex for long time, people will lose interest in the story too. So sex and story should go hand in hand. Again, I like this VN so I gave my honest review so far. If you can apply then it will be good, if not..then I will also level down to low subscription model. Don't take it as a complain...but I am just telling you what I want from my side...and what stuff I felt disappointed about from this VN. I subscribed to this VN from first update because I expected sex in the story should not make us wait for long time something like AWAM. I did supported intial background story buildup too when you mentioned sex will start from CH3..Like in one year atleast give sex for 2 updates and give story for the rest of 2 updates..if not 50-50 atleast keep it 70% of story and 30% of sex. But I will not support if tease fest will continue without sex in CH3.

I understand and agree, I would say that however it will be important to see the developments of the new update, maybe it will surprise us! Mr Palmer once said that... if I remember correctly..: "don't expect fireworks for the next one or two updates..", Well from the next one which I imagine will be released at the end of September we could hope for fireworks right ?...However sometimes the script and eroticism do much more than pure sex scenes. I hope that the novel does not drag on and deteriorate as I think other games have done (whose graphics in my opinion were superior), but which in the long run have become illogical and absurd (A Wife and Mother-Fashion Business Monica Anventur).

I get the impression Mr Palmer may be concerned that subscribers could lose interest once Ana gives in for the first time and has sex. The story will become less exciting. I can understand that view, but that can and will happen if the story drags on with no action as well. Double edge sword. I personally will struggle to support, at the top tier level i have been for the past 18 months, if something doesn't give soon. I wouldn't not support, but may reduce my monthly contribution. I enjoy the story regardless. Top 3 in my book.

There is no need to jump several days for corruption path...Just giving an example, In faithful path, Ana is shy, faithful and will not cheat...for that path tease, seduction and lewdness process make sense. For corrupt path, I assume Ana is naughty, so seducing the naughty side of Ana and leaving the update with just the tease makes no sense for whole week. It was just a suggestion, if he want to make Ana a slut in corrupt route where she end up having one time sex in all routes, it will not make a difference if she do sex twice too where he might have limited Ana only to seduction/tease for the first time. Extend the seduction/tease part upto the sex from the first time itself for corruption route. On the other hand for faithful path he can extend those scenes upto the tease part only, and can give the option to skip the scene or making Ana coming back to her senses. That way faithful path can enjoy the tease path without going into the cheating part of Ana. But leaving those seduction scenes upto the tease part only in all character routes for the first time seems predictable, plus it will need another update with all those characters to reach upto sex. If the story in corruption route requires Ana's interaction with any character multiple time, it should not mean that only the last interaction should be sex and all previous interactions with that character should be left at tease. He can show Ana sex multiple time with same character if the story requires that character in it. As a corruption route lover, I dont mind that. But extending it with just the tease until final sex interaction will become boring and predictable. This way whenever he will complete the project, the VN will be rich story wise and sex wise both. Else it will be good only story wise and sex will only be 5/10% of the novel in the end.

I understand, I agree on almost everything, actually 3/4 months to finish a single day of play is not sustainable. Obviously it doesn't seem possible that Anna will turn into a slut in a few hours. I think and hope that Mr Palmer wants to accelerate the corruptive path which will conclude by the end of the week with a high erotic rate. And this will surely take us to at least mid-2025, obviously I hope sooner. But he is the artist and he dictates the times. Maybe he could make time jumps to describe several days, giving laughter only to single events that trigger his desire to dare. I don't know how long he has planned to handle this whole thing, I hope it doesn't drag on for years and years. The Novel is the best on the market in terms of writing. I hope sex comes sooner than we think.

Na, he said he will keep tease festival for a week, that's where I disagreed. In faithful path, if shy Ana required to be fucked by someone as per story, then tease with lewdness make sense. But in corrupt path, naughty Ana can go for sex directly without much seduction and lewdness points requirements. Secondly, this small updates of 3 months idk if it will come in 3/4 parts because that way he will be able to complete the story of this week until Friday in one year. If not let's say he might be able to cover up the story of this week in 1.5 years in 4 updates....that means again the seduction will be there without any sex scene for one more year..which I think will be boring for those who are playing corruption path.

it seems obvious that the story in part 3 is going in direction 1 or rather in my opinion the sex will probably start after Wednesday, however we can only confidently await the developments... without a doubt for me this novel is far more intriguing than many others. ..let's hope that the long wait for the fireworks is deserved! We will see

I just posted an update. There really just hasn’t been anything to report. I was visiting family out of town over the holiday weekend, so I didn’t make progress those days. Yesterday I focused completely on it. I try to be as honest as possible, really. It’s close but not done, and I’ll have time tomorrow and Friday to work on it. That’s the best I can say.

Hi all - still working on it. Yesterday was only day since Friday I could work on it. And I made a pretty bold change yesterday. In short- originally I had structured it to show David’s pov and then go back and show Anna’s pov, but yesterday after playing through it, I didn’t like the flow of that, so instead I’m reshuffling it all so that it switches back and forth between their povs from start to finish of this update. I think this will help the flow overall. It’s not a huge change that will take a bunch of time, and I’m already mostly done with reshuffling it. I still need to finish programming the final scene too. It will take tomorrow and Friday, and hopefully I’ll be in a good place then to give you good news. I know it’s frustrating not having a release date, but I’m not going to push it out until I’m happy with it. I want to finish it as much as anyone. It’s not ready yet though. It’s a good update though in my opinion, so bear with me. Thanks.

Just like if you're expecting some online product on particular day, but if there's any delay the company itself inform the customer like there's delay due to this this reason and you will receive by this day right? .

That's not savoring..savoring is when you play the story and then you're left with the feeling about whatever the story missed...that increase the intensity and emotions towards the interest in the next update...this way you dont wanna savor... this way you want to play when the story reach to the point where you are sure, it will meet your expectations.

True, but David is a necessary and important part of making Anna’s misdeeds more impactful. Investing time in David will increase the emotions involved for the reader. At least, that’s my hope. I’m crafting this to be more nuanced than a simple faithful vs corruption. Anna is really struggling with her feelings and urges. David is going to have to do all the right things to hold on to her.
