Extra character

You may have noticed that there are characters sprinkled throughout the story that aren't featured. The reason I'm doing this is - I haven't committed to featuring these characters, but I want to leave open the possibility. I'm very, very careful not to drag this story on by introducing new plots, characters, etc. Call it the anti-George RR Martin plan :) I want to finish this story... I have no interesting in milking.
I do, however, feel there could be room to feature one more character right now. I'm going to list the four characters we’ve been introduced to – but have not met yet – and I'd like to ask for your help on deciding which character you'd like to see the most if I decide to fit in another character.
Mr. Grant Stenstromber - He was a dear friend and business partner to Anna's father. He's known Anna her entire life. Her father trusted him, but as explained in APM, Mr. Stenstromber worked behind the scenes to legally keep all of Anna's father's interest in the company upon his death, instead of transferring the interest to Anna's mother as intended. Anna hasn't spoken to him since the funeral, but he surprisingly texted her on Tuesday. What could the 64-year-old man possibly want? If the funeral is any indication, he certainly wants to get his hands on his former partner’s and friend’s crown jewel: his daughter Anna.
Renaldo Macronis - He works for David, and he's very successful at his job. He can be charming and charismatic at times, and he’s good-looking. However, his attitude has kept him from ascending further in the company. He wants David's job badly, and he thinks he can do it better, but David and David’s father would never promote him because of his attitude. He has built a loyal following among the workers, so David and his father have to put up with him, even though he undermines them and wants to overtake them at the right opportunity. Another thing he wants to take: David’s wife Anna.
Intern – Upon Anna’s promotion, she inherited a case already in progress that her predecessor was managing. This predecessor was working with an intern on the case, and now Anna will have to work with the intern too. What she doesn’t know is the trouble that her predecessor faced with this intern. To put it simply, he’s useless. He doesn’t care to work hard, even though he’s capable and smart. He was hired mainly because he’s an ethnic minority after Hank came under fire for his hiring practices. The intern is more than happy to work with the blonde milf, but he has no intentions of changing his lazy and insubordinate habits.
Anna’s mother – She doesn’t work a job because she lives off her late husband’s life insurance money; instead, she watches her grandchild, Sophie, each day while Anna and David work. She’s close with Anna, and they talk as friends (other than about sex and other topics that make Anna uncomfortable). She’s a steady force in Anna’s life and a positive influence. But how willing is Anna to use her mother as an adviser for her marriage issues? Anna doesn’t want her mom to worry or think things are bad, so she may lean on Kendra to be that adviser instead, for better or for worse!

2022-12-30 22:37:49 +0000 UTCMr Stenstromber sounds too similar to Hank to me. I believe any new characters should bring something fresh to the game, instead of more of the same. Both Renaldo and "the intern" sound like interesting characters and could bring more diversity to Anna's would-be pursuers. I think previous posters have argued the case for their inclusion well. The intern got my vote because I like the idea of Anna in a dominant or nurturing role. I also like the idea of the Mother being present, just to complement the story. As previously written, she could be a counter to Kendra's machinations through sage Motherly wisdom.

He could be an attractive man of colour, with a BBC, hard-working, enterprising, intelligent and charismatic, who can steal Anna, and Darren and David's company. Poor David ;) The mother could be a little angel against devil Kendra in Anna's ears. I don't see her in a sexual way, only as a complement for the story. I don't understand very well the poll about her, Stanstromber, Renaldo and the intern, because the three men are sexual characteres for Anna, and the mother is very different one. I would exclude her of this poll. In my opnion those are good characters, and the two (Renaldo and the mother) must be in the game. Grant Stenstromber is another old man, apart from Hank and Marvin. The problem is I am intrigued with this character because he was recently introduced in the VN. Now is difficult to forget him. That's the reason people are voting him. It's the problem of the "Chekhov's Gun Law" The intern is a way to intoduce a BBC, but Renaldo could be that one. The character of the intern is a bit similar to Jake. Maybe MrPalmer has thought other path for him different to others, but with the explanation about the character is very similar to Jake.

2022-12-30 09:47:07 +0000 UTCWouldn’t mind seeing any of these characters honestly, as long as it’s done right. Some do overlap a bit like hank/Stenstromber & Chris/renaldo. My question is what new angle would these characters bring to the table. Maybe Anna had a childhood crush on Stenstromber & he works off her soft spots & shows that his actions were honorable. At first she’s resilient but she can’t deny a love that’s years in the making. Chris has already been labeled as a charmer & a lady’s man so that role is currently being filled. Renaldo feels more like a character that can come in and be “that guy” if you decide not to go through with a Chris route. The intern is intriguing because we could see another side of Anna where she’s more dominant/nurturing depending on how you want her to act. Maybe this intern is an entitled brat straight out of high school that can manipulate her to feel sorry for him and let her guard down. I would definitely like to see Anna’s mother because there’s not enough females being seduced lol. Would like to see her interactions with a beaten down, kicked out David or Stenstromber. As for the old man routes, we have to remember that the current story does have Anna at a weak point. The beautiful young wife may not be the reflection on the inside. She needs validation which could cause her to make mistakes. And the right person at the right time can capitalize on that.

So/but I'd like have her character more involved as it'd round out the narrative even more (excellent already). Expecting she'd be pretty desirable herself based on Anna, and there's no mention of her re-marrying, so a bit bored/frustrated like her daughter?:)

2022-12-29 23:23:57 +0000 UTCSo far, I don't see Anna acting like a boss toward Jake. But if she got an intern with a quite incompetent and lazy attitude (she can't stand this), then Anna will need to use some kind of authority we will probably never see with Jake as his fully devoted assistant.

2022-12-29 21:40:49 +0000 UTCOut of the four choices given, Mr. Stenstromber seems like another Hank character, an older male in position of power/authority who is going to try to make Anna submit to their dominance. Since he’s known her since she was a child, I guess there’s daddy/daughter dynamic that people will enjoy. Until we see more of him he seems too similar to Hank to me. As for Renaldo, his character and role seems to be occupied by Chris already. We didn’t see him at all when Part 1 is form David’s POV so there’s not much there yet to build on. As for Anna’s mom I’m guessing we won’t see her in any sort of sexual situations? She’s probably going to be the angel on Anna’s shoulder opposite the devil of Kendra pushing her to save her marriage instead of destroying it. Even though we seem to have a runaway winner here, I’m going try to make my argument for the “Intern”. The reason the “Intern” intrigues me the most is because it’s going to be a younger character that works under Anna who is the unattainable MILF. We don’t have this type of character in the story yet. Everybody so far is Anna’s age or older. Anna will also be the one in the position of power to the subordinate which is a reverse of what we have with Hank or potentially Stenstromber. I can see a lot of sexual tension in the scenes when he challenges her authority. If this character is brought into the story I want to see how he is able to seduce and ultimately bed her.

It would be a dangerous game for the intern to play with her but Anna could be the one having power on the man she can't have with other protagonist.

But the building custodian would just be pure silliness. If my wife cheated on me with that guy, I wouldn't feel any jealousy whatsoever. I would think she is severely mentally ill, and I would pity her while giving her the boot. I would be perfectly fine with the interracial intern, It would be interesting see how Anna will deal with his lackluster performance and insubordination. Seems like she would have to provide CERTAIN incentives to get him to perform. But that would be 2 suitors that are directly under her. Whereas Renaldo is not and is already a direct antagonist to david and seems the single biggest threat to actually steal Anna away from David, whereas Chris, and Jake would just be borrowing her for a While. With Chris she'll eventually come to her senses, and feel deep shame for succumbing to his manipulations, she wouldn't leave David for a guy Like Chris. With Jake, She'll eventually come to the revelation that she was the victim of a seductive game of deception. So Jake couldn't steal her away either. But this Renaldo cat seems like the perfect candidate to actually woo Anna away entirely.

His route seems more about subtle manipulation than pure seduction. So I wouldn't mind another attractive seducer in Renaldo or an interracial intern to match the two "ugly old man" options we already have.

A total alpha dawg, and a potent adversary to David. You can see Anna being seduced, and willing to risk her family for someone like this. But apparently most supporters here are under the impression that this is a female corruption, and degradation game. So, we have this beautiful young mother & wife, willing to throw away her family for some wrinkled up prune dick?? Yeah right. Sigh.

2022-12-29 19:49:54 +0000 UTCBeware, only being surrounded by attractive guys with big dick like Chris and Jake who are also good in bed can also be a cliché and would tend to be boring if it's overdone. Having your wife falling for another man but who is not "worthy" by being unattractive by your own standard is also a huge fuel for jealousy and can provide an even more sense of loss ("why, why did she leave me for him?"). I get your point but a balance must remain. And as said, we also have already 2 manly men, attractive and with big dick. It's not like there are too much ugly guys already, they don't have the majority. By the way, I don't see them as ugly either. The worst is Anna's boss but the other old man is not what I would call "ugly", only old. I guess the middle ground for everyone would be something else and new like the intern to bring some interracial content then?

The eroticism in NTR games is supposed to fueled by jealousy, and a sense of loss, but the ugly old guy trope is just plain degradation, and it's not realistic so it destroys immersion. Please don't let this well written Gem devolve into that kind of silliness.

2022-12-29 17:30:34 +0000 UTCIf I may add something, I absolutely understand the fact you want to finish the story and avoid steering it by introducing new plots and characters. But in the other hand, if there are some existing characters (with a name), I think you should use them. As a player, if I see a character or a dialogue with him, a character who has a name, I expect him to be important enough to expect to see him later in the story. If you don't plan to use a character in your story or if it's only an unimportant one, don't bother give him a name or we (players) could be mislead by excepting something which will never happen.

The intern is new, he is mentioned in passing (he could be our BBC, but Renaldo could be too). And the mother can contribute points of view, a sort of little angel on Anna's shoulder (the other would be Kendra). I'm not afraid to make this a bit longer if it helps you to build the story better. I think the mother can contribute a lot and Renaldo and Mr Stenstromberg too. Choose only one is difficult, maybe Renaldo. The intern raises more doubts for me because his story would be very similar to Jake's to some extent.
