Hey everyone!

Sorry for the quiet stretch lately: I didn’t have much new to show, and I didn’t want to make a filler post that just says, “Still working on the game!” Don't want to spam you with boring stuff.

So, what’s been going on behind the scenes?

I’ve been incorporating your feedback and grammar fixes for Chapter 11.5. On top of that, I managed to strike another deal with dirtydarkkling, the animator responsible for the Cia/Amy threesome in chapter 10 and the Emma animation in chapter 12, really happy to be working with him again.

I’ve also been making progress on Chapter 12. I’ve started producing new renders, including the one you see above: Amy annoying Ciarara (as she does).

Right now, I’m just focusing on getting Chapter 12 finished. When exactly will that be? Honestly, I’m not sure yet, but I hope it won’t take too much longer. Chapter 11.5 turned out pretty big, and I want to make sure Chapter 12 feels just as substantial and worth the wait.

As for the previous poll, I haven’t announced the results yet. It’ll help decide who MAYBE gets an NSFW scene in Chapter 13, assuming I don’t come up with something better before then.

I was actually surprised to see how many people voted for a lesbian scene between Emma and Arsa (without the MC)! That one ended up in second place.
The winner, though, was Mc x Ciarara.

Just a reminder:
Chapter 13 is already fully planned out.
However stupid as i am, I forgot to include enough NSFW content.
And since Companion of Darkness is, after all, an adult visual novel, it definitely needs to be there.

So that's why the vote took place, if I can’t come up with something that fits by the time I start creating Chapter 13, I’ll include the MC x CIA scene from the poll. If inspiration strikes and I find something that fits the story better, I’ll go with that instead.

And if you’re thinking, “But then the vote was pointless,” NO!
Votes are the cornerstone of our modern hum...
Anyway, I digress.

All in all, the poll really helped me get a feel for what you all want to see: and that’s super important.
