Who? Tell me!

I’ve got another progress update for you. Things are moving along nicely. No picture this time since I don’t want to spoil anything. The “meeting” with Tessah takes quite a while, and to keep the pacing fresh, the perspective shifts. I won’t say who the new focus is, but I think this change is important to keep the story engaging.
You’ll see what I mean when Chapter 12 comes out.
Now, to the main point of this post: Which secondary character would you like to see more of? I’m not talking about Noel, Amy, Clara, or the other central characters. I mean those who haven’t had much screen time lately, like Blake, Martha, Bridgette, or Takeshi. Maybe I’m even forgetting someone.
Drop your suggestions in the comments. In three or four days I’ll gather the names and put up a vote. Just to be clear, winning the vote doesn’t guarantee that character will get a nsfw scene or even more screentime, but it gives me a great sense of who you’d like to see more of. And if the plot ever slows down and needs some variety, your feedback will be a huge help in deciding who might step into the spotlight.
Looking forward to seeing your picks!
Also to keep the tradition, I watched Alien 3. And honestly… aside from the ending, phew, I didn’t think it was that great.
Right at the start they kill off all the characters from Aliens in like two minutes (the movie’s 35 years old, so I think spoilers are fair game). I really didn’t like that, but okay, I get that they wanted to tell a new story without carrying over baggage, fair game.
The problem is, I just didn’t like this new story. The alien doesn’t feel nearly as threatening anymore, and there are way too many characters. Sure, it kills some “important” people and but so many minor ones, in Aliens every character had personality, so when someone died it mattered. Here, it’s just “some random guy” over and over, and that gets old fast. Death stops having weight.
The whole vibe is super nihilistic, which could’ve been cool, but instead it feels less tense. At one point, Ripley literally walks straight up to the alien because she knows exactly where it is… okay... even if it does make sense storywise, don't know. We now have more of a visible threat rather than an unknown one.
I will say the ending worked for me, I liked it, but the way the movie got there wasn’t satisfying. Honestly, I probably should’ve stopped after Aliens.
PS: For those who aren't interested in my film review, don't worry, that was the last one.
