The Bang-Bus strikes again!

Status Update

Hello everyone, I wanted to give you another update.

I’m currently finishing up the first NSFW scene. And yes, as you can see from the picture, the Bang Bus has struck again. Or maybe it’s the Bang Truck? Well, whatever. Some of you are probably wondering: What’s going on with this truck? Why are we back in it again?

To be honest, it wasn’t planned. Even in Chapter 11, there wasn’t supposed to be so much happening in it. But here’s how things turned out:

Originally, the animator who did the Amy and Cia threesome, dirtydarkkling, was the one I planned to work with long term. I sent him the truck data, and he started working on it. Everything was fine until he had to drop out. Which is completely okay, private life is more important than work.

So now I had the truck scene already written, but no animator. That meant I needed a new one.

The search took a while. At first, I found an animator who was interested. I sent him the truck data again, this time with different characters (since I didn’t know when dirtydarkkling would be back, it wouldn’t make sense to have the same characters in the same scene twice, if he returns in time. So i could use both scenes for the game.). I rewrote the story a little, no big deal, and now we had different characters having fun in the truck.

The new animator said he had started, but here’s the problem: he only works on weekends, and he estimated three months to finish. I thought, damn, what do I do now? On one hand,that was on me, i never asked him how much time he needs. I didn’t want to wait, but on the other, he had already made progress and I had paid him partially. So I decided to let him keep going.

But I still didn’t have a finished truck scene ready for the upcoming release. So I rewrote the scene again, brought in new characters, and started looking for another animator. That’s when Gary, the developer of Realm Invader, stepped in and helped me out. He did the animations in just two weeks. Perfect, release saved!

Then the slow animator came back with his finished animations. Okay, now I had another truck scene. It was a little silly, but the Arsa x MC animation looked good, and since I didn’t have another animator at the time, I decided to use both. So, Chapter 11 shipped with two truck animations, better than looking for a new animator and delaying release again. Not what I originally planned, but hey, better than nothing.

And then… dirtydarkkling returned. “Hey, I’m back, and here are the truck animations I promised.” So yeah, truck sex again. There’s just no escaping the Bang Bus.

Looking Ahead

Don’t worry, Chapter 12 will only use the truck in a minimal way, basically just as a location for sex. Since dirtydarkkling is an insanely talented animator (as you’ve seen with the Cia x Amy animation), it would be a waste not to show you his work. But after this, the next big scene won’t take place in the truck.

Or so i hope.

Anyway how is chapter 12 doing?

Overall progress is good. The first sex scene is finished, and the action scenes are also done. What comes next are some dialogue and calmer moments to move the story forward. The plot is thickening, and honestly, I can’t wait to keep going because I have some really cool scenes and plot twists planned. But I can’t rush it. I need to be patient and build them up properly. So that’s the next step: the buildup to the next big bang (no pun intended, I’m not talking about NSFW content).
