Hey everyone,

Just a quick update: I’m taking a short break from working on Companion of Darkness because tomorrow is Monday and im going to the store to buy Elden Ring: Nightrein, it just dropped—and I simply can’t resist. 😅

Now, you might be thinking: Wait, what? He’s pausing development for a few days? How dare he!

Yes. Yes, I am. But hear me out: Chapter 11 is DONE. ITS F***ING DONE Finally. And not just done—this is probably the biggest chapter I've made so far, and I’m really proud of how it turned out.

I really love the ending. It’s intense, emotional, and I can’t wait to see what you all think.
(for those of you who know me, you probably can already guess what kind of ending it will be.)

Right now, I’m waiting on the final animations from the animator before I can send Chapter 11 off to my proofreader. I’ve already received about half of them, and the rest should be finished soon. (in the next 7 days.) But on my end?
All the writing, rendering, and coding is complete. It took time, but for those of you who played the first half of the chapter, you’ve probably noticed the quality has stepped up. I believe the second half keeps that momentum going, and I hope you’ll feel the same.

So, how long until you can actually play it?
My animator said it should take him around 7 days max to finish everything. (And of course, as soon as I get the animations, finalizing the chapter will become my top priority.)

After that, my proofreader usually needs 1 to 2 days, depending on his day job. Once proofreading is done, I’ll implement all the grammar suggestions and export the game for Windows, Mac, and Android—all of which I can do on the same day.

So with that info, you can probably do the math yourself. We’re getting really close!

Thanks so much for your support and patience. These little breaks help me stay sane and energized—especially after wrapping up something as massive as Chapter 11.
