You may have noticed that the first half of the chapter takes a bit longer than usual. Sorry about that! I had a restructuring and tried out a few new things to improve the quality of my game. Additionally, the way I measure my chapter length changed during this restructuring.
Normally, 5000 lines of code would constitute one chapter. However, part of this new restructuring also changed the way I code, so I'm not sure exactly when I reached the halfway point. This time, the chapter half is based more on intuition. Please let me know if chapter 8.5 feels shorter or longer than the other halves of the chapter. (I think it might be a little longer, but I could be wrong).
By the way, when is 8.5 coming? I'm currently working on the last scene, which includes animations. This will take some time, but I'll get it done either this week or, more likely, next week.
Once that's done, my proofreader will check it and then it will be ready for you guys, I hope you will like it!
