Freak of the Week: Thylacine!

Happy Monday my Garfields! Hope you're all doing well. I was able to take Soup for a nice long walk today, we both got covered in mud and had an amazing time. :^)

This week's freak was suggested by taterdash! Thank you!! I could've sworn 1,000 people suggested this one, but I think that my mind inflated the numbers because I really wanted to draw one. Well, I love these guys and I hope you do too! I want to believe they're still alive, but I'd be happy if we never ever saw one or learned where they are. We lost thylacine privileges... Also, I had never seen this colorized footage before, I thought it was so amazing! It was very helpful while coloring them. So I'll leave a link here if you wanna check it out :))

Yay!! They're perfect!

Man these are my favorite extinct animal. I really, really hope science can either find or bring them back. ;w;

I absolutely think it could be the name of one of those bestselling history books that looks at all of world history through one thing

HAHAHA ohh no I wouldn’t put it past me to make the same joke twice & completely forget!! But I really can’t quite remember… it’s the prophecy, that’s all I can say. I feel like all modern extinctions can be tied to such a blunt rotation, it’s truly a nightmare

Little Tunny

I just had a full deja vu of you posting a thylacine drawing, down to the line about the nightmare blunt rotation of humans, cats, rats, and dogs. Either this is so your brand that my brain fabricated a memory, or I prophecized it in a dream, which is equally likely.

Charlie

Oooo that’s awesome!!! I wanna pay them a visit someday 🥺🥺

Little Tunny

The Smithsonian Natural History Museum has a stuffed one! I saw it last time I visited and was very normal about it, barely any crying at all

I love thylacines so much. I'm so happy to see you draw them.
