We return back to the Silva household two weeks from where the last chapter left off, with Connie enjoying the newly changed family, but maybe she's let herself get a little too complacent. We start this arc with Connie getting some bad news, and coming up with a new trick to try and get what she wants. Enjoy "It Would Make Me Happy" Part 1, with part 2 coming out later this month.

2017-05-15 21:27:24 +0000 UTCDeveloping michelle always seems interesting, as she gets less focus than Tara/Jane. In addition, if you had Connie try to get the family more interested in each other, but they exclude Connie, that would have interested consequences. Tension is also good, so if Connie continues to struggle with power dynamic with Gloria, or if somehow the family can reverse roles somehow (even if temporarily), that would make things interesting.

2017-05-15 13:52:18 +0000 UTCI honestly love how much some of you go into breaking down the stories, writing long posts about character motivations and strategies and such. Like, I'm amazed that the stuff I write has that much of an impact that you want to go into the story and analyze it, and give such great feedback. On the one hand, it is a little panic inducing since I know you guys are watching closely so I can't screw up, but it also motivates me to stay on my game and give you guys the best story possible. My only problem is I have some of the future stuff for this series planned out, but I have to figure out what to do for the next two immediate arcs haha. They need to focus on Michelle or Jane, so I'm going to ask you the readers what would you like to see Connie do, or what would you do next in her shoes? I'm not saying I'm going to steal your ideas lol, but it may inspire me to think up something good

2017-05-12 15:46:49 +0000 UTCOh, along these lines, I like that the new control method likely won't arouse Gloria's suspicions very easily. However, since she does regularly hypnotize the Silvas to check up on them (including odd behaviour), I can see her going suspicious if Michelle, Jane and Tara start explaining all their decisions with "It will make Connie happy", or even worse "Connie told me this would make her happy". I don't think this will derail the plot at all, but it does mean that in a few chapters, Connie will probably have to vary her methods again.

2017-05-11 04:11:25 +0000 UTCThere was a lot to like here. I enjoyed the time lapse, and description of the 'new normal', and I figure that will continue on if we get back home in the next chapter. I like that Connie is holding off trying to push Gloria any further, and that she realized that one misstep could collapse everything. Finding a new method of pushing the Silvas was a great idea, and keeps things fresh. I liked that Jane ended Connie's training. It reinforced that while the hypnosis might be able to set a new normal, the Silvas attitudes aren't just going to stay static. With the current situation, it wouldn't be out of the question for Jane to hit up Connie for some casual sex in the future if she's feeling horny, but it doesn't make sense for the sex training to continue. (Along those lines, now that Connie can nudge them along by indicating that something makes her happy or unhappy, I wonder if she might be able to use that to modify Jane's dating/sex life in future. Something like 'It really makes me unhappy to see you dating someone who is using you like that". It probably wouldn't allow her to control who Jane is attracted to, or force her into monogamy, etc, but I'll bet she could use it to keep Jane sexually frustrated.) I liked Jane's reaction to finding out that Tara believed she and Connie were dating, why Connie hadn't mentioned it to her, etc. It seemed very much in keeping with her conditioning. It would probably be difficult for any of younger Silva women to get mad at Connie at this point, unless she's deliberately pushing things. They all want her to be happy, and this was a situation where she persuing something that kept her happy in the short term, but went against what Jane would understand Connie's long-term happiness to need. All in all, very consistent :D The new control method, and the way Connie happened upon it was amusing. I liked that both Silva sisters were trying to get her along with the other. The rom-com having a mind-control plot device Connie could draw from was a hell of a coincidence, but I don't consider that a negative in a fun erotic MC story like this.
