2023-11-02 14:44:27 +0000 UTCThe sad part about Armin having to “fight” Eren is that in 3x17 when Armin nearly died by Bert, he told Eren in a flashback why he never Runs away or Fights back against the bullies. It’s because he didn’t want to Stoop down to their level and show that he’s the better person. He had to unfortunately in this case with his own Best Friend.

2023-11-02 10:17:08 +0000 UTCEren didn't mean everything he said, as it's obvious he was trying to provoke Armin into attacking him so he could "prove his point" about Mikasa. Personally I like how that scene is very similar to the one with Bertholdt, Reiner and Annie after running away from Marcel being eaten. Annie kicking the shit out of Reiner and Reiner choking out Annie while Bertholdt cries and whispers "Please stop" from the sidelines. Mikasa doesn't even try to stop Eren from beating Armin, despite probably being able to - she just cries and begs him to "Please stop".
