This was a fun episode tracking down some thieves lol Those scenes with the little girl cracked me up! We also got to see Eli and Wallace in this one so that makes me happy. There was kind of a big reveal at the end about the guy in the picture. I wonder what it all means..

Benefit of the doubt and Veronica are like... un-mixy things. Why should Wallace get his money back for the test he bought? He paid for all the answers to the test and got caught cheating. It was entirely his fault, and as much as I love Wallace, he deserves to be expelled. Even though it was too late to drop the class, there should have been an option to opt into a pass/no pass grade and taking the course again, and even if there wasn't, getting an F is a much better option than cheating. Fun bit of trivia: The alias Keith uses to impersonate the county employee is Adrian Monk, the titular detective in the show "Monk". The not so fun part is that I'm pretty sure Keith could have lost his license to be a private investigator for doing so and I'm surprised he had such a cavalier attitude about being caught.

They find out someone impersonated a government official to get into his apartment. That's their ONLY lead. The landlord doesn't know anything about the ex-wife and stepfather and the fact his son is dying. The guys missing, they can't ask him about it. The only way the police would know anything about it, is if Keith told them, which he didn't.

I understand it as they DID kidnap him, and put him out and did the bone marrow transplant against his will while he was passed out. The deal came after when he was conscious and the danger of him having them all sent to prison for it. In relation to Keith saying the only way they'd get away with it is if they killed him. Instead they THEN paid him off after the fact. Don't report it and make up a story about where he was, get a new car.

Veronica got there by finding out from Weevil about the stashed guns and that they were prop guns. Investigating the film department, she saw the video they made. Weevil pointed out that the friend told him instead of going to the police. So the police didn't have the lead that Veronica did to investigate prop guns and the film department.
