What a crazy finale! I didn't see that reveal coming at all! He wasn't even on my radar! Still kind of shocked lol I'm so happy about the development with Veronica and Logan! Overall, I loved this episode and I'm excited to see what kind of mysteries we'll be solving next season! A form for submitting questions for season 2's review will be up sometime soon!

One thing I want to clarify: when Veronica looks at her phone at the airport it says "no signal", so maybe Keith did try to contact her but it didn't get through? * edit: I just saw that Loves Bitca already said this. I'll leave this up as my badge of shame.

She didn't have a phone signal so he could have tried to call and let her know whatever, and it wouldn't have gone through. Alll we know is that apparently he's not making it to meet her for the flight to New York.

Theoretically, they could have charged him with a slightly different crime (go for manslaughter after second degree murder failed, maybe?) and it wouldn't be double jeopardy. And the confession could still have been used as evidence in a wrongful death civil suit that the Kanes surely would have brought had Duncan not otherwise had him taken care of.

2024-12-24 02:55:07 +0000 UTCTo answer some of your questions: Hart was the kid who was shooting a war movie when he accidentally caught Lynn Echolls killing herself. That's why he acted like he knew Veronica even though she didn't remember him at the time. We see Veronica try to contact him after she tried warning Mac and we later find out in the episode that Hart told her that Cassidy was the one in charge of blowing stuff up on the movies and that Curly taught him how to do it. Cassidy was investing in cheap properties that would only be worth investing in if incorporation didn't pass. His plan was to blackmail Woody with the recording he edited his voice out of to make sure that incorporation didn't pass. However, since he was underage, he had Kendall be the face of his business, so she got all the profits when he died. I didn't see the twist coming at all when I first watched it, but I think they did a really good job at laying all the clues because it all makes sense when you really think about it, especially on a rewatch.
