2024-03-19 15:17:35 +0000 UTCHi! This is probably a bit nitpicky but here are my thoughts, I am updating this comment as a I watch it. I am coming from a background/bias of being familiar with BLM through the horse program and believe that, if anything, the BLM is way too pro-cattle grazing/ranching and agree with the general idea there should not be cattle ranching in that area. I am also ingrained into a TNR group for cats so I also have specific ideas about how feral animals impact an ecosystem. Firstly, the animal is cattle. 'Cows' is specifically female cattle that have birthed a calf. That is super nitpicky but I will assume you will get a lot of know-it-all argumentative comments on it so jsut preparing you ahah 2. I think the video needs more of an intro and some context set up in the beginning. Otherwise the first the first information given is straight from the bundy's and mostly unchallenged. I saw a lot of the comments are about the family background section, and while I do think it is too long, you should keep the first part of it because it does set up why they hate the government so much and believe they have a 'birthright'. I would mention, if you can find it, any native use of the land before them. I do like the tortoise bit and your editing of the tortoise expert into his comments. You can also add some quotes I have found about how the tortoises euthanized were former pet tortoises that could not be safely released due to the spread of disease or ones with URI's and that is was not the BLM, but the center. https://www.rgj.com/story/news/2016/05/12/blm-desert-tortoise-euthanasia/84260796/ I am really excited to see more!
