So, it's been around 20 some days since I posted my last documentary and I'm already knee-deep into my next project. It will be about the tragic story of a young man who died while digging a guy's makeshift underground nuclear bunker (for further reading please click this link https://www.washingtonian.com/2019/09/08/paranoid-tech-bro-homemade-nuclear-bunker-shocking-death-askia-khafra-daniel-beckwitt/). For this project, I plan to travel to Maryland twice during August in order to get footage and interviews with people relevant to the story (thanks to your backing I will go with a brand new camera, a new lens, and wireless lapel microphones).
I've spoken to the father of the young man who died and he seemed interested but mentioned that he needed sometime to think about it. If it all works out and he agrees to participate in the documentary, then it will no doubt elevate it, so I'm hoping for the best.
There are some other things that I want to try to do with this project such as creating a 3D model of the house, but I'm still trying to figure that out.
I roughly estimate that I could have this doc finished by mid-September or early October since it'll likely be only 20-30 minutes in length. As soon as I have stuff to show, I'll post a series of early cuts onto this page.
Again, huge thank you to everyone supporting what I'm doing! It's really motivated me to perform more efficiently and to make sure not a single penny is wasted!
