"Song of Durin" Patron Version Update

We wanted to apologize for not communicating with you on this project for some time. Some of you have reached out to us inquiring about the progress, so we wanted to give everyone an update and are sorry for not communicating sooner.

We made a strong attempt to get the recordings we received to work, but the song has not turned out at all to our liking. Unfortunately, the recording method we suggested did not produce consistent quality recordings. Due to our inexperience of never attempting a project like this, we made some assumptions that turned out to be wrong and thus made it impossible to produce a quality version of the song.

Now that we have a lot more experience with larger projects, we have decided to attempt this again. We want all our Patrons that are interested to record yourselves singing Song of Durin. We will reach out in the next few months with a concrete template of the recording method we want you to use, including hardware and software, as well as clear instructions on how to sing the song. We are planning on reworking the song as well to really make this a unique version of the song.

Once again, we are sorry for the slow communication, but this has been a far more difficult project than we first anticipated.

Do know that we appreciate all of you very much and we hope you have enjoyed the new music we have produced! We cannot make our songs happen without you.
