end of october/comm update [it's a LONG one folks]

hey guys, wanted to update you on the current status of comms and drawing and other stuff. in short though, november's commission opening and $25 sketch rewards will be delayed, looking to increase comm pricing not sure until when, exactly; i'm aiming for mid november but that will be subject to change. details as follows:

so, if you've commissioned me this month, you'd have already received an email giving a bit of info that commission completion will be delayed due my wrist/arm/hand is not in the best condition, likely due to a developing RSI. truthfully, i think what caused this is going on vacation, not using those muscles for a bit, and being lax on my workout, which all combined made a very weak arm that did not like it when i went full ham after returning from vaca. 

currently, i'm trying to rest it but also slowly work on owed commission works- i'm working at effectively 1/3 speed or slower. as much as i would like to just stop and wait... bills and rent wait for no man and i definitely have those to be concerned about. i was certainly anticipating getting more work done by now but i really am worried about pacing myself properly so as to NOT permanently destroy my arm, lol. and admittedly, it's been alongside some issues at home, losing my cat for a night, financial concerns, and overall stress of the whole situation... it does not make for an ideal healing situation.

enough of the tragic backstory, there is some light at the end of the tunnel- i should still have funds to get me through the next month while i take things a bit slower, and i am in the process of picking back up my workout routine which i anticipate will help build up my muscle again, and i'm hoping to be back up in shape! when i last began working out during similar wrist pains, it helped a TON.

that said... in order to prevent further agitation, i'm looking to increase prices on comms once again. i get more forms per month than i can reasonably take on, and even the quantity now i take (clearly) has been a struggle for me to physically keep up with. with a price increase, i would be putting less consistent strain on myself. details on the prices being raised will be ironed out and updated at a later date.
