Visual Novel Style Interactive Something

I uhm got distracted again when I should really just be working on Sabrina..
Here we go.. I made something and I'd like to share it:)
Recently fell in love with the Godot engine and can't stop trying out new things.
Sooo.. Long story short.. I started working on a different side project once again. I don't know where this is going to go but the idea is to play as the lady above who's a pred obviously and lives together with uh don't know yet. You can walk left and right like a platformer.
The goal is to have one nice player as pred scene with a bunch of smaller animations and some character building then release it as chapter 1. Following chapters will then continue where the previous chapter ended. This might change but that's what I roughly have in mind.

2024-12-26 08:48:04 +0000 UTCYep all made in Godot 4.3. I mean Godot is not like renpy specialized for VNs. You'll have to implement everything yourself. Renpy is as far as I know tailored to create VNs and Godot is made to create whatever you want. But there's very helpfull plugins like dialogic 2. Also I'm not planning to make a VN. It's going to have similarities, but not be a real VN. I guess you'll understand as soon as I release a first version:)

2024-12-23 05:21:23 +0000 UTCEven a crude background drawn by a person is far more worthwhile than anything AI-generated. As long as it gets the point across, it's fine, especially since the background isn't even the focus, the characters are.
