2022-01-23 17:36:02 +0000 UTCYes, the rape caused her physical and psychological trauma. It was difficult for her to talk about it with White at first. When she to talk about the incident, White comforted her. Red didn't want anything to do with sex or pleasure. White respected that. As time went on, she trusted White more and felt safe. When she felt ready and they performed the act, she felt more comfortable. Of course they had difficulties in the beginning because Red had flashbacks and burst into tears but over time that also went away. It was important to White to understand Red's needs and triggers. White was patience and took things slow. For a ruler who otherwise had power over everything, he was very careful. I think without White, Red would still be scared but she learnd how to reconnect with her body. Both have learned over time how to communicate with each other during the act.

Neglect, abuse, lack of self worth, yet she stills has a compassion for the very beings that shun and hurt her. =( Red is a great character.I also love that this hasn't negatively impacted her relationship with White. She claiming her man. :D You go Space Bean girl! She is awesome!
