[NO LONGER AVAILABLE] Beta 0.5.5 Update Key

Hi everyone, I'm extremely excited to celebrate a major milestone for Foundry Virtual Tabletop with Beta 0.5.5 and the launch of software license purchasing on the official website. This is an odd-numbered "stable" release for all Patreon supporters and for all users who pre-purchase a license from the website. There are relatively few changes in this update, the most significant of which is the addition of the new license verification process which applies to non-Patreon customers and will (eventually) apply to everyone.

Along with this release pre-purchasing is now available on the website! You'll be hearing more details about that in a companion post coming shortly. If you haven't yet gotten a chance, please check out the Release Announcement Video which was posted recently.

Direct Update and Temporary License Key

You may update directly using the following update key: 055-2l1km449kki1

This same key is used as a (temporary) license key when prompted by the software.

NOTE: If you were previously using a version of Foundry Virtual Tabletop that predates 0.5.x, while you CAN update directly using this key I recommend that you uninstall and reinstall from scratch to obtain the latest Electron version.

Providing Feedback

The feedback cycle for these releases are very important. There are many large changes where I will be keenly paying attention to feedback to continue building upon this new framework. There are three ways to provide feedback which I have ordered according to my preference. 

1. Discord Channel. My preferred method to collect feedback is through our Discord server where I have created a dedicated channel for Beta 0.5.0 feedback. If you are able to join our Discord community it's the best way to engage with me directly for feedback.

2. GitLab Tracker. You are welcome to create issue reports directly in the GitLab tracker here ( https://gitlab.com/foundrynet/foundryvtt/issues ). If you choose to create issues in GitLab please take extra caution to check that your problem has not already been reported by checking other recently reported issues before creating a new report.

3. Bug Report Form. There is an official bug report form on the official website. Please go to the following address and select "Bug Report" as your category.  https://foundryvtt.com/contact-us/
