Development Video - Compendium Packs

Hi everyone!

Firstly, I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the amazing supporters who have contributed to this project so far. It's barely been one week and I've already achieved my first goal that I had set for the project. I'm really thrilled to see the enthusiasm in the community for this software and it's potential.

To celebrate my first goal, I'd like to share a development video I created this evening which showcases the features and usage for Compendium Packs in Foundry VTT. These compendia  allow for you to easily store and bring content into your worlds and game sessions.

I hope you enjoy the video, and get excited for the first Alpha Release version coming very soon now - I hope to get it out this weekend, if all goes well!

Thanks everyone and happy gaming.

Andrew

Hey Joe, good question - I haven't announced or finalized plans on this yet - but I think I will offer some discount to people who have supported on Patreon when buying the final license based on their cumulative support during the testing phases.

This looks amazing, and I'm excited to get my hands on this, but I have a question, as I don't see the answer anywhere. Will supporting this get you access to the full release at launch, or is it limited to just the alpha and beta?

PERFECT!!!! It's the one thing I wish so much for other VTT's. My players act like kids with ADD when they get to an exploration area and it's hard to tell them narrative things. Can't wait for this to be released now!

Hey Jared, 1. That's right, as the game-master you can "pause" the session if you want preventing players from moving around if you need to interrupt with some narrative or keep everyone in place while you take a break. 2. It's definitely something I will explore as my product matures, but probably not in the very near term while I am focused on core platform development.

Very nice, a few questions; 1. I noticed in the beginning it said "game paused". Is there a feature for the game master to pause the world to stop players from moving around or something along those lines? 2. I know it's still in development stages, but do you think in the future there'd be options to license official Wizards of the Coast (or other publishers) content to allow for compendium integration?
