Red's Story

As I couldn't write that much in my post, here is the full story!

Red grew up in an orphanage. Unfortunately, she was bullied by the other children. Even by the staff she was treated badly. Often she was not given food, had to stay in her room and was even locked in the basement. When she moved out, she lived in a small old apartment and worked in a flower shop. In her life, she had no friends or family. The only thing that made her happy even as a child were flowers and plants. For some reason she liked to take care of them. She was fascinated by how many different species there were and how individually they had to be looked after. In her little note book, she wrote down everything she could find out about plants. She wanted to know more, so she studied and became astrobotanist. In addition to plants, she longed to travel far away, ideally to space, where there is none. She wanted her peace and quiet and only do what she loved, researching plants or even exoplants. Through the posters on the streets, she learned that the government was looking for new "CREW" applicants. The head of the "CREW" was interested in exoplants himself and so it happened that he came into contact with Red. He was amazed at how quickly and precisely she worked. Her research has been flawless. So it happened that she got more and more plants that she researched and even led a team. Due to her rapid rise, Red got her first mission. But the mission in the moon was a nightmare for Red. She was still very young and the only woman in the team. She was harassed and bullied. This reminded her of her childhood and she collapsed. It went so far that she couldn't sleep from fear and hid during the breaks. She asked the leader on the moon mission for help and told what happened, but no one believed her. Mentally she was finished and broke off the moon mission. She didn't want to go any further. Even the plants couldn't help her anymore. Back on earth she wanted to leave the "CREW". The members noticed her failure and began to talk badly about her. Everything was over. On the way out, however, someone stopped him. A captain fleeing to join his Team and research special exoplants. Red was surprised and hesitated at first. A few days later she saw her team for the first time, with whom she had to get along for months. She felt sick and remembered her childhood and the moon mission. At that moment she had considered canceling the mission again. She was terrified. But then a tall, muscular and handsome man introduced himself. Red couldn't believe it and almost forgot to breathe. Before she could change her mind, the mission started and they had to get into the spaceship. Because of him, she was distracted and couldn't abort the mission.
