About my future in creating adult games

I don't think it's a surprise to most of you that Patreon, like any other platform, has its rules and ideologies. It's not something I can go against or question. However, I can't deny that lately I haven't been very satisfied with certain attitudes and decisions from Patreon. I've seen some artists and developers I like being banned from the platform, some of them without any apparent real reason, aside from alleged accusations (Yes, it's completely insane). I won't lie, this is something that worries me and, to some extent, discourages me from trying to do more "daring" things. I know that there are developers who are still skirting Patreon's rules, but honestly, I'm sure it's only a matter of time until they're affected too.
That's why I'm thinking of migrating to a platform that provides me with the freedom to work the way I want. And that's the reason for this survey.

But I can try to find other alternatives besides SubscribeStar and Fanbox for cases like yours. If you have any other site in mind, feel free to mention it. ๐

2024-03-29 22:01:22 +0000 UTCSubscribestar is cool. In terms of a policy it's pretty much an open zone and I love it. Patreon biggest thing is Paypal and that's really huge. But since I'm on Subscribestar already it makes no difference for me. I just hope they will add more payment options in future and stay non censorious. Keep it up man.
