This cyclops seems to be different. While shy and nervous she prefers to help people. She is an unusually good diver and help nearby towns fish or recover sunken goods. She seems particularly happy when helping a certain golden traveler with commissions.
So decided on cyclops because of how a diving helmet has a single circular view hole. Also because a diver was referred to as a cyclops in the SpongeBob movie.
