I (Aaz) showed off some of the goods being sold at the Great Berserk Exhibition that a friend bought for me a while back (see this post and that one) but I forgot to write about the centerpiece, which arrived six months later since it's made-to-order.
These are much more expensive than the other reproductions, costing between 33,000 and 66,000 yen ($250 to $500). The reason for that, besides the fancy frame, is that they're printed on high grade paper using "chara fine graph" technology, which from my understanding prints at a "finer" level than normal, capturing more details of the artwork it's reproducing.
This one, from volume 18's cover, is sold 55,000 yen ($400). I've put it next to some volumes to show the scale. It's not huge, and I suspect it's probably the same size as the original piece. To be precise, the illustration is 449 mm x 373 mm, and with the frame that grows to 679 mm x 603 mm.
Anyway, while it costs a bundle, its quality is plain to see when you look at it, it's really incomparable to a poster or anything of the sort. It feels like an actual painting. Hopefully the exhibition merch will be available to overseas fan at some point... Would be a crime if they weren't!
