Aside from the girls return to the shipwreck at 250 meters, this is the storyline I am most interested in at the moment. As I do not see that inevitable dive anywhere near on the horizon, I have turned my attention to this storyline for the moment. I suppose if we’re lucky Tomokazu could accompany the girls down at least part of the way, either floating in place to save oxygen or returning to the surface and diving again to wait for them on the way up.

It’s easy for you to believe that his life has meaning because he is your brother and you are the best diver in a generation, but think about it from his perspective. He has the same lineage as you, but he’s constantly comparing himself to you, and there simply isn’t a contest in terms of survivability. I can only imagine how much trauma Misao’s death has caused him, so it’s perfectly reasonable for him to want to experience the things she did, and in this case, those things were deep beneath the waves. Besides, being able to survive longer underwater is always a net positive, and you do live on an island, so I rest my case. Three things, savaster. One: the original post of this mini series is not tagged as SakiTomo. Two, I’m actually working on a rewriting of Apnea Girl Meets Girl (as more of a book form, the same way your Five Minute Summer Episode One was separated by posts but could be read as a continuous story), and would like your permission before I throw too much effort at it. Finally: keep the SakiTomo series going! The fact that you are able to draw both appealing female figures as well as male truly showcases your skill, and it’s a decent challenge (I would imagine) to transition away from every one of your important characters having the same general body type! I want to see more of Tomokazu in a bathing suit!
