In this panel from volume 7, Adon makes a surprise appearance to confront Casca at Doldrey castle. Dark Horse translated his line as "Shockk!!! Adonnn!!!". The implication is that he's referring to his "shocking" return.

However, when we look at the Japanese text, another meaning quickly reveals itself. His line is actually "しゃーく!!! あ、どーん!!!". It's written in hiragana for emphasis, but しゃーく or シャーク ("shaーku") actually translates to... shark. One quick look at his new armor is enough to understand it: he's literally "Shark Adon".

If the intent had been to say "shock" in English, it would have been written ショック. But more probably, a Japanese word would have been used instead... Which is in fact what Miura did! The way Adon says his name (normally spelled アドン) is meant to be a pun: どーん can be used as an onomatopoeia to mean a surprise reveal (or, indeed, a "shock"), like saying "ta-da!".

So he's basically saying "Surprise! A shark!" while making a joke on his name and appearance. Which, compounded with the absolutely ridiculous look on his face, makes that scene amazing.
