Hello adventurers!
Do you need help figuring out how to install our packs for Dungeon Builder?
Don't worry! It's really simple! This is a step by step guide written for Windows.
- First, make sure you have Dungeon Builder installed on your computer! You can download it from the Hobbyte website!
- Then keep a shortcut for Dungeon Builder for easy access. On windows you can create a shortcut for an application. For example you can right-click on the Dungeon Builder application (the one with the blue icon, called DungeonBuilder) and chose "Send to -> Desktop (create shortcut)", to create a link on your desktop.
Now for the main steps of the pack installation:
- Start by downloading one of our DB packs.
- Open the compressed pack you downloaded by double clicking it.
- Make sure Dungeon Builder software is not open and running.
- Open the main Dungeon Builder folder. You can access it easily from the shortcut you created by right-clicking it and selecting "Open file location"
- You can see if you're in the right folder by looking at its contents. It should contain the DungeonBuilder exe file (the one with the blue icon from before) and the "Custom" folder (plus other files and folders, like shown below).

- Now going back to the compressed file you opened before, you should see only a "Custom" folder inside it. Drag it and drop it in the Dungeon Builder main folder.
- If done correctly, a windows popup should appear saying something like "The destination already contains a folder named "Custom". You can just click yes for any popup.
- After the process of copying the files, everything should be ready. You can open Dungeon Builder and start using our packs!
