Doctor Who - The Timeless Child Review

In the meantime, some friends wanted a darn review, so I uploaded this to drive! For those of you who watch my DW reviews, here's a secret criminal review for you!
I'm sitting in bed in this one because...some days its just hard to get out of bed!

Thanks Dale! Wow, I hadn't really thought about how the Valeyard now CANT be the Doctor, that's interesting... for me, the author's intent will always be important, so in that sense I can still think of the Valeyard as the Doctor, but we definitely need to rework some theories now! I mean, the Eleventh Doctor THOUGHT that he was going to die, because he thought he was Doctor 13, so could it be that the Valeyard was also in that situation where he was convinced he couldn't continue regenerating and just didn't know?

2020-03-04 08:32:48 +0000 UTCThank-you so much for posting this! You really captured what I've been feeling, as well as my disinclination to watch all the videos of people complaining. I had a bunch of idle thoughts, but when you mentioned the Trial of the Time Lord they were driven from my brain. The Master clearly thought that the Valeyard was some future nasty version of the Doctor, or an amalgamation of his badness, or whatever, but what the Valeyard wanted was the Doctor's regenerations so he couldn't have been since the Doctor has infinite regenerations. Also, the senior Time Lords presiding over the trial must surely have known about the Timeless Child, right? So they wouldn't have thought that the Valeyard was who the Master said he was. I think I need to rewatch the entire trial again. (It always makes me sad they haven't brought Brian Blessed back for one more appearance, but I can live with my sadness.) So much to think about! So exciting! Your Doctor Who reviews always make me happy, but in this one you really outdid yourself. Thanks again!
