Harem Hotel v0.11 Pre Release 2

Now, seeing as v0.11 is just about finished, I would love some final feedback from all of my patrons! I've been putting a lot more effort into creating events outside of the hotel to spruce things up. I've also worked on making the lighting better, and spent extra time on character poses and music in the past few updates. It all adds up quite a bit, which slows the actual story down. My question to all of you is, has this trade been worth it? Have you noticed? I could go back to using maps I've already used over and over again in the hotel and prioritize speed over detail, but I'm quite happy with the progress I've made over the years, even if the extra detail does slow things down a bit. Autumn's 2nd event is a great example of this, it took me days just to get it to look the way it does, but I think it was worth it!
Remakes and recreations of events are also things I wish I didn't have to do, but feel I must in order to keep the game's quality consistent and friendly to new players. I've also improved a lot as a story writer so there are always opportunities to make it even better. I foresee only a few more updates until I'm happy with the game's quality as a whole and can focus entirely on future content! The recreated and remade content is always worth replaying, I wouldn't redo something unless I made it a lot better! :)

Looking back and comparing to now, some moments felt a little too easy to achieve and they now feel like you actually earn them a little more. Very excited about Autumn's new content. I feel like she has a great payoff in how things progress with her. She and Kali are my favorites so any new content for her, I'm all about it. Also, I love being able to sneak around but wonder if this might be expanded a little more in the future. After your late-night rendezvous, the MC says he's exhausted... perhaps if you did this too many times in a week this might affect what options are available to you. For instance, a character whose lust level is being intensified automatically drops in on you and you don't have the option to deny her an orgasm (essentially your willpower is worn down). Lastly, maybe I'm the only person who looks at this but any chance there will be new spy-cam content? In all, fantastic release. Thanks for the work you put in.

While I would love there to be new content all the time, I'd much rather wait for high-quality content than constantly loose immersion at low-quality things. I play this game for its quality. If I wanted something quick and unpolished, I'd go play something on Newgrounds.

2020-11-05 06:25:14 +0000 UTCI agree with others that going back and touching up old scenes to look better is a really nice quality of life that does make it look nicer for newer players and makes it more exciting to go back to for older players. Especially with mixing it in with new content, you've found a good middle ground to do both polish old and put out new content. I'm excited for the future and glad that this is going so well.

There were also instances with characters I wasn't very fond of that I enjoyed much more after a rework of scenes. I would say I prefer quality over speed and have been very pleased with supporting this project the entire time I've been subscribed. Please continue to keep up the good work.
