Added 2019-02-12 02:57:45 +0000 UTCSo I can't really be hypocritical and try go all nuclear when leaks inevitably happen(I think a lot of you came here because of a leak on various sites anyway), but I wanted to ask you guys what you expect from me when they do. I thought keeping the delay to public at 10 days would help prevent them and maximize each patrons individual value per contribution, but it's the internet after all lol. The way I see it I only have a couple of options realistically, just wondering what you guys here thought was the best path. I figure if I ignore it I can change the early access for each tier to reflect a higher day count, providing more visual value to those who may join and don't frequent other sites where leaks occur(i.e. from now on public release will be two weeks later or something like that). Or just release it to each tier here if I see it leaked elsewhere.

I've become a patron as well, due to one of those sites. So don't worry too much about leaking. What does help if you provide teaser images a bit more often, or polls. I did not find the 10$ tier very appealing, and only chose the tier because I really like the game. I would advise doing more teasers to 10$+, so the patrons feel some more engagement and reason to pay that amount.

That will at least give an idea of who it may be. But honestly....you will not stop it. You will bleed a bit to those sites but. At the very worst you lose a bit of bucks up front but you will gain free advertising to those who have never heard of you. I would talk to a few of the other creators and get their input as well. Keep it coming and please dont lose heart. Im personally done with following a game only to see the creator bail. this game is too good not to see the end of it.
