A huge thank you
Added 2018-12-10 12:20:27 +0000 UTCSo I don't want to name anyone's names, I know some people prefer anonymity and privacy, but I felt like I needed to give you guys a huge thank you for the support so far. This update hasn't even gone public, and a couple of you have upped your patronage and some even joined up as new patrons. You guys have me way ahead of where I thought I would be, honestly didn't even plan to have one person's support until version .06 or so at the earliest. You guys have me so excited to continue working, and just knowing people are enjoying the game enough to even care if the game continues, let alone help financially support it knocks my socks off everytime I think about it.
Though Moistness posts enough replies I feel like I can use their name(hope that's ok), and I wanted to give them a special thanks beyond the usual thanks for the monetary support. I was really worried about this update, because of the way it's structured, and his/her(though I am pretty sure it's his lol) feedback on the update really alleviated a lot of my worries and let me know at least some of you want similar things as me out of games, even games like this. I know only certain tiers can see his reply to that post, but trust me it was very kind. I was actually at a party at my buddy's house when I read it(big american football fans, GO BROWNS), and I quit drinking after I did. Not because it ruined my day or anything, but suddenly I was more excited to sober up, get home, and continue working rather than drink beers and watch football. Though in the interest of full disclosure I didn't quit until after the Browns game lol.
