I have to wonder if Aya and Chihaya had considered that Saki might go deeper than agreed upon - what they are doing now in the shipwreck seems planned out and may likely an attempt to make her go back up.

I mean that at this depth the pressure on their chests shouldn’t allow their lungs to expand much past what they’re at now, certainly not from another diver’s leftovers and without a vacuum seal around the lips. It is intriguing that the girls are using a yoga pose that’s meant to help with airflow, though I doubt it has much practical use here, without either the air OR flow part of the equation.

Do you mean that they can’t air share because that at this depth their air in their lungs would have a volume of 2-2,5 dl?

Are the cousins’ trying to call Saki’s bluff, or are they really trying to outlast her down here? This doesn’t seem like the time or place to play “Chicken”, and we’ve seen Chihaya pass out in this same position at least once without alerting anyone else (it’s probably why she’s smiling, the thrill of testing her endurance is overriding the pain or something). Depending on how long they’ve been in the wreck, Eri could still be minutes away at this point, and they can’t air-share at this depth, so who breaks first?

Looks we will get to see a breath holding challenge inside a shipwreck at the depth of 250 meters this certainly looks interesting :D
