Game Development Update #5: Story Introduction
Added 2022-08-24 21:46:18 +0000 UTCIt's crazy to think I haven't done a game development update since October 2021. This is long overdue. But that is one of the main reasons why I wanted to reform the higher tiers of my patreon, because soon I will now have more time to make progress on this big long-term project.
Shortly I will paste here a download link for you all to see what I have so far on the introduction to the story of my game. The dialogue for the introduction of the game is not quite finished, but basically 90% of the way there. Before you watch, it's worth noting that a lot of what you see in the video is placeholder. For now, I'm using the vanilla assets of RPG Maker MZ, but I plan on eventually replacing a lot of what you see with custom assets I will create myself. I plan on adding sex animations to this story intro, but for now it's just dialogue and vanilla assets. The combat you will see is bare bones at the moment. I plan on adding abilities and items and all sort of things that will factor into the turn-based combat, but in the video, it's just simplistic combat since that aspect hasn't come into focus yet. My focus has been environment and dialogue.
I hope you all enjoy this story, and once more of my time frees up as a result of my reforms, I look forward to bringing you more frequent updates. The development of this game project was delayed for far too long, but soon that will change.
