I'm so happy you always manage to catch everything I'm trying to convey in my lil comics. The shot of Shinsou lighting Monoma's cigarette was pretty much the prompt for this comic hehe-- I just wanted an excuse for it. The inherent homoeroticism of asking your ex boyfriend to light your cigarette... I think Monoma is trying to play easy-going here, but really, he's a big fat liar. He's gonna put him through hell fr ❤️

But also I’m sure the thought of that conflict was too much for him and the distance made doing it in person nearly impossible. But I love how intimate this moment is - especially the shot of Shinsou lighting the cigarette for Monoma. And the conversation is top tier. Shinsou degrading himself as way to prove he’s remorseful, Monoma’s response showing he misses him in his own way, but still isn’t happy with him. It’s so subtle and so perfect and so them. Sidenote: Monoma is so gorgeous, I am smitten and drooling over the open chest.
