I need feedback. Candy Cap Mushroom Video

This is a sneak peek at part of the next video I'm editing, it's hard. So many hours of footage to go through to build the story.

So I am working on this video, I have been for quite a while, and I need some feedback.

1. Is it interesting. Are their parts that make you lose interest?

2. Can you understand the interviews. I'm not sure I want to ad in video subtitles, but I may need to.

You can post here, or e-mail me at podcast@pd.net

P.S. It may take a bit to get uploaded if the link does not work yet.

Did you ever take Mr. Lehrer for a music class?

That's a shame! But I'm still interested in how you got from dried mushrooms to this delicious candy! :D

The whole video is interesting but I'm biased, I went to UC Santa Cruz and it's refreshing to revisit Santa Cruz's brand of Weird. As for the interviews, you got good audio of your interviewees but you as the interviewer were a little soft or garbled at times. While I could hear you fine I know it might be an issue for many others. Most unfortunate IMO is your autofocus betrayed you while you were tasting pastries and cookies.

Sadly they don't ship fresh so I got them shipped dried. I tried to go picking with someone but it rained the day we were to go

Just watched it while snacking on some Candy Cap candy! I hadn't opened it yet, and this seemed like the perfect time to do so. It is delicious, and I can't wait to see the part of this video where you ostensibly (hopefully!) show how you dried and processed the mushrooms. :D I am very interested in mushrooms and candy-making, so I didn't get bored at all! But it does meander a little when you're meeting people and asking them questions... that could be tightened up, but I don't know if it needs to be. If you wanted to upload your own captions into an .srt file, you could give viewers the option of captioning if they're having trouble (and it'll be accurate, as opposed to auto-transcription).

I really enjoyed it. I didn't lose interest but then again I feel like I can listen to you ramble on about anything for forever. As someone who is hard of hearing, I would really appreciate it if you would caption at least the parts in the interviews where you are speaking those are difficult to understand. I always enjoy it when the user does their own captioning compared to YouTube's unreliable auto captioning options.

Same, it says it's processing. I'll check it out tonight. I hope you're doing well.

seems good. a little choppy, but lots of good info. one suggestion: add a clear notice at the beginning that this was filmed in 2019 (people scenes), because it's scary to see so many people too close together right now. thanks.
