Binaural Audio part 2
Added 2019-09-13 01:24:56 +0000 UTCWell I re-built the rig. This time I made the ears out of a printable rubber called TPU and the frame is PLA. This should improve the quality of the audio. Also I made the "Head Shadow" 1cm larger in radius.
We get to see how this works with Tomorrows video, that I hope to post early here. Please let me know if it works with headphones for you.
I'm a bit worried about this. The shop is very noisy from the refrigeration for the ice cream and vents and well, everything. I did everything I could to reduce the noise, but ... well it's not perfect. Also I concentrated on the audio, so the camera goes out of focus now and again.
It's been an interesting experiment. I need to figure out how to level the sound before it gets into the camera. There was some clipping.
It's cool all the things you can do with a 3D printer.
