Added 2019-09-03 02:00:01 +0000 UTCOk, i was not too happy with the first rig, and then I learned about something called head shadow.
It's not just to get the ears right, but you need to have a head shadow in the way to make this stuff convincing.
There are lots of expensive ways to do this, but I had this Styrofoam head that I until today stored Gefforey's head (mask) on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Js-gv7VVg
So Caterine helped me and we got the ears on. The test recording sounds good to me (I am probably a poor test subject, but I am what I have, and the headset does not fit on Caterine.) I will play with them later this week for a real test.
