Today's unsuccessful rabbit hole.
Added 2019-08-10 11:38:54 +0000 UTCToday I'm trying to figure out where the flags of agincourt ended up. Before WWII the 523 year old flags were taken down for their protection during the war. They were thread bare at the time and were hanging on Westminster Abby.
I have a pre WWII photo In a book that shows hanging. They are no longer in Westminster Abby. I can't find them them on line, which is weird as most museums in the UK document their collections well on line.
I had a humanities teacher,ba Dr Wilson, talk about seeing them on a field trip when she was a little girl. Just got to wondering about them.
I should not wake up early. I did this instead of sleeping in.
