Some of the character images and little sprites were the default in my RPGmaker engine and I used them as the foundation for my character creation. For example Nancy, Gretel or Commander Cain. So I drew my art based on existing material. Other characters, I usually make their sprites and then draw the character bust based on how the sprite looks like or what they are wearing. There are however those few who I draw first and then create a sprite based on the character I have created, but these are very seldom.

2023-06-05 19:06:18 +0000 UTCI love how you try to make them look the same when it comes to the little portraits (for the conversations), their sprites and the actual character bust. Many artists don't bother at all and a guy who had green hair for his sprite suddenly has white hair for his character bust.^^' He looks cool btw. =3
