April 27 Update

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the late night update. I've been scrambling to get stuff done with week, lots to do and very little time to do it, but I'm hanging in there.

tldr:

• Bonus poll reminder.
• Favorite Painting poll reminder.
• I deleted old non-art posts for previous months.
• I still need to update the patreon page and tier descriptions. Nothing will change, I am just describing benefits differently for clarity.
• I'm making a patron only discord. It should be ready sometime next month.

Third: I just went through and deleted all the non-art posts (updates, expired polls, requests, etc) from Feb and March. I'll do April once May comes along. That's how it will be from now on, I'll delete non-art posts for previous months at the beginning of every month to make the art easier to get for new patrons.

Fourth: I still need to update the patreon page. I am updating the page to reflect the new schedule and changing some language. I'm changing the 4 week early access to illustrations to "4 week early access to paintings and art tips." "Behind the scenes" will become "Bonus Art" and it will be described to include WIPs, Rough Sketches, Colored Sketches, or any other side projects I'm working on. I'll need to update the welcome notes as well. These changes don't change anything about the patreon, things will be the same as this month but I'm describing them in a way that I hope is more clear to new patrons.

Last: Last month I surveyed you on benefits you'd like in the future and the second most voted answer was a discord server. I said I wasn't ready for a discord server, but I looked into and started setting one up. It should be ready sometime next month. I'd like it to be a place where we can share artwork, talk about art and games, just hang out in general, and also communicate you all better. It will be patron only but I might invite a few artist friends and mods. After using patreon for 3 months, I've come to the conclusion that it is a little clunky for communication. The art content will still be delivered here so that a discord account is not required for patrons who are not interested in discord.
