The Passion of the Christ (2004) Reaction

Edit: I will be updating this as I watch If im not mistaken they whipped Jesus 72 times on the back in that cat of nine tails scene, I think, If I kept up with the latin count (I hate how pretty of a language it is to be calling out orders to do what they're doing and that God used that Language as his means of delivering the bible to millions). If thats the case, then Matthew 18:21-22: Peter asks Jesus, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus responds, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times". If my count is right, and even if it isnt and its close to 77, it still clearly is Mel Gibson portraying that even those guards whipping him could be forgiven Protestants wont know this, but the women and her child is Saint Veronica and she did, in fact, keep that cloth forever and it still exists https://www.churchpop.com/content/images/2024/03/Untitled-design---2024-03-25T120632.597.png Peter and John called Mary mother in this because again, Mel is Catholic and we believe that when Jesus told John, behold your mother and Mary, Behold your son that is an adoption of every christian, and Mary is a spiritual Mother. Again, I would let Catholic apologists respond to this, not protestant ones so you can learn what we actually believe VS the charicture that is drawn that is not reality - I've been there, and it's simply slander Mel Gibson and Jim, who played Jesus are Catholic and when Jesus fell, it was part of the stations of the cross. These events arent in the bible yet are still historically attested too by witnesses, whether you trust the Catholic Church on that is up to you. I would recommend Trent Horn to you, the youtube is https://www.youtube.com/@TheCounselofTrent Don't let Ray and the other youtube Prots tell you too much about Catholicism, as they know virtually nothing about it lol Pilate was believed by early Christians to have been a convert, this I hope is the case https://library.biblicalarchaeology.org/article/how-pilate-became-a-saint/#:~:text=Philo%20reports%20on%20Pilate%27s%20predilection,Pilate%20and%20his%20wife%20saints. If you read all this, I thank you, I'm more then happy you found Christ. There is a lot more to discover

Also, please do make another channel! I've been trying to build a relationship with God and I've been asking my friends who are actually building one and I feel like it'd help a lot of people understand how to approach it or so. I've always had a rough relationship myself so channel talking about your experiences and/or process would be great !
