🚨 Fix for Login Issues trying to access content on the site 🚨

Hello everyone!

It has come to my attention that some patrons have been experiencing issues when trying to log in and connect their accounts to my site in order to access the reward links. This has affected even those who previously had no problems logging in.

The issue appears when pressing the “Unlock with Patreon” orange button, which leads to a blank error page with the following message:

With the message “{"error":"access_denied","error_description":"Please verify your email address through Patreon before logging in."}”

After some digging, it seems the problem comes from a glitch in the plugin I use to gate content on the site. I sincerely apologize to those who have run into this issue!

🔧 How to Fix the Issue

// Only necessary if you are experiencing the login error. If you can access the site normally, you don’t need to do anything. //

1. Go to your Patreon settings: https://www.patreon.com/settings/basics

2. Under Basic Settings, change your current email address to a different one of yours (any alternate email works, as long as it’s different from your current one).

3. Click Save Changes. Patreon will send a verification email to the new address.

4. Verify the email address through the link Patreon sends you.

5. After verifying, you should be able to log in to my site again and access all content without issues.

6. (Optional) You can switch your Patreon email back to your original one by repeating the same steps above. This won’t affect your ability to access my content.

✅ Once this is done, you can try again to access the links and connect to patreon as before and everything should be smooth once again.
