My COVID Story [BTS 68]

I caught COVID last month. Here are the details of my experience travelling during a pandemic, including what happened when I was sick.

My COVID Story [BTS 68]

Comments

Glad You and You gf only had mild symptoms. I feel for Fifi and Her family. It's sad that people still won't accept that it's real and so causing more damage by not doing things to prevent it from spreading. For anyone Who is still having a go at You for travelling. Your following guidelines and are taking tests. Your not just walking out as though it doesn't exist. Keep up keeping safe and giving Us all this great content

I really admire your courage man. Not for braving the virus, but for braving other people's judgment of your decisions. Your job and you are pioneering through this pandemic setting an example for all of us itching to get on the road again and I could not ask for a better guide. I am glad that you and Eva are recovered. Thank you for the video, it is a reminder for all of us to take the virus very seriously. My heart goes out to Fifi and her family.

Glad you made it thur it ok!

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend in Tanzania, man. That's awful. Several people in my old neighborhood contracted the virus and some of them didn't make it. I didn't know them well, but it was still a shock to hear that they were gone. Part of me hopes there are vaccine passports to enter establishments like sporting venues, concert halls, restaurants, etc., only because I've seen many instances of one selfish, irresponsible person putting hundreds of lives at risk. I'm definitely getting the vaccine. I may be getting it as soon as later this week, so I'm looking forward to not having to worry much about it anymore. As always, I'm glad you're safe and healthy and I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us next.

If you are looking to check something out in Canada Travel wise I hear the Red sand Beach in Prince Edward Island is amazing. Keep staying safe and well and can't wait for your next video

First of Mike I'm glad to hear you and Eva are doing alright and I'm sorry to hear about the women You worked with in Tanzania. I would not give to much credence to those people that were or are mad at you for travelling. They need to understand that this is your life blood and it is something you need to do to stay sane and happy as well as pay your bills and make a living. You explained what you were doing to take precautions and stay as safe as you could.

Thank you for sharing this very personal story. That's so sad about the woman you'd met in Tanzania. I'm curious to know how you feel the legitimacy of vaccine passports will go. I am fully vaccinated now, but all I have to prove it is a flimsy piece of paper with someone's bad handwriting on it. Will different countries really accept this? What if I lose it or it gets damaged/wet, etc.? It's sure going to be interesting to see how it develops. Best of luck in your journeys, getting a vaccine, and navigating the ever-changing challenges of international travel these days.

I hope that everyone takes this COVID so serious. I'm done with my 2 Pfizer vaccine shots and I still wear a double masks whenever I am outside anywhere. It saddened me seeing some people who don't care for other people's welfare. I'm fervently praying for this pandemic to be over. In as much as we all want it to be over, it will only happen when we all get our vaccines and follow the protocol sets by CDC. Thank you for sharing your covid story. It's a reminder that everyone is vulnerable for covid.
