My version is 'stop talking about it and just do it' another I stole from Spirited away 'Finish what You started human' It's sometimes hard to start something but then when You get over that thresh hold sometimes it's hard to keep up the momentum. Just need a lil kick once in a while

2020-05-21 23:18:32 +0000 UTCThis is so true, man. I was raised to fear failure. I think I told you this, but as a kid, I would be shamed by the people around me if I ever failed at anything. The moment I had a dream, there was always a loud group of people telling me it was impossible or stupid or impractical. When I failed, I would always hear those four dreaded words from them: "I told you so." I think when that starts when you're young, it conditions you to fear failure. You become insecure and feel like you're not worthy. And as you so brilliantly pointed out, it makes you fear even trying. And it takes a long time and a lot of self-introspection to navigate your way out of that. But as always, one of the great things about listening to you speak on this is that we've all heard your story and how far you had to come to get to where you are today. It's why I've always said that your candor and honesty and openness will help so many. Seeing someone who is where you want to be, and knowing that they didn't have it easy and had to put in work and go through rough times, makes it easier, at least for me, to take the first step toward getting to that place. It's something I'll always be grateful to you for! 🐉🐉🐉🐉❤️
